Work in progress




I wanted to show you the first stages of a painting that I started today. The subject is our house in Spain. I am painting this from an image (I don't have the original any longer) of a larger version that I did quite a while back  I've reduced the scale and changed the format from landscape to square. Since I took this photograph I have reached the final stages of the painting but the light has now faded too much for me to take another photo...! I will post one for you tomorrow...I promise!

    House in Spain sounds fun, which village is it in and do you spend much time there?

      The house is in a village called Castello de Rugat. We don't get there as often as we'd like but we're going sometime in August...mad you might think, August being the hottest month of the year! We're going in time for the fiesta celebrations! It goes a bit firework crazy over there at that time but the processions with all the extraordinary costumes are brilliant! Well worth melting in the heat to see! I'll post some pics when I get back.
